Friday's season finale show is now sold-out! [ Wildflower image ]

SHELThis Friday night (April 29) we conclude our spring Wildflower Concert Series with the sister quartet SHEL's CD release show. And for the second week in a row, the show is completely sold-out!

Named after Fort Collins-raised sisters Sarah, Hannah, Eva, and Liza Holbrook, the indie-folk quartet SHEL make their long-awaited Planet Bluegrass debut while celebrating the release of their second full-length CD, Just Crazy Enough. This new album encompasses classical virtuosity, glowing four-way harmonies, intricate melodies and textures (check out this Metallica cover!), beatboxing, and electronic touches courtesy of Eurythmics co-founder and producer Dave Stewart. Though the album officially drops on May 13, SHEL will be giving a copy of the CD to everyone in attendance on Friday night as a special thank you to the Wildflower Festivarians!

Jacob RussoBe sure to arrive early, as Denver-based singer-songwriter Jacob Russo takes the stage at 8pm. A veteran of The Song School, Jacob's rustic indie-folk brings to mind soft-focus sunsets and felt-tipped sensibilities.

As always, we'll open the doors and begin serving drinks at the Wildflower bar at 7pm (New Belgium Beer, wine, and hot drinks); followed by music starting at 8pm. If you're one of the lucky ticket holders, be sure to RSVP to the show on Facebook.
