For a Planet unto itself, we are remarkably accessible. All major airlines (and many minor ones) fly into Denver International Airport, which is about an hour's drive from Lyons. We are about an hour from Denver and Fort Collins, and about 30 minutes from Boulder or Estes Park.

Travel to Lyons on Saturday

The US Pro Cycling Challenge will bring over 100 of the world's top professional cyclists through Lyons on Saturday afternoon between 2-3pm. We highly recommend you arrive in Lyons by 1pm on Saturday to watch this exciting sprint of cyclists down Broadway Street in downtown Lyons. If you must arrive after 1pm, please be aware of temporary road closures on US 36 (between Boulder and Lyons) and SH 7 (between Ward and Lyons).

Our property is bordered by the North St. Vrain River - between the bridges just outside of Lyons. We are just 25 minutes from Boulder and about an hour from Denver or Fort Collins. The Kinfolk Celebration begins with your journey to Lyons. Share the celebration with a full carload. Connect with fellow Kinfolk and arrange to carpool by visiting the "Hitching a Ride" board at our Festivarian Forum. Share the gas cost, share your ipod playlist, and make some new friends.

Biking to Planet Bluegrass

The area around Lyons has some of the best bicycling on Colorado's Front Range. For the past few years, several inspiring groups have organized rides of varying lengths to RockyGrass and the Folks Festival. Some of these rides incorporate gear transport to the festival, parties for cyclists, and other benefits.
