This weekend, all of us at Planet Bluegrass are returning to Telluride for two historic shows with legendary musician Neil Young + Promise of the Real on the Town Park Stage (Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1). It's certain to be an epic autumn weekend of music in the box canyon.
Single-day tickets, 2-day passes, and camping in Town Park are still available at www.NeilYoungTelluride.com or 888-512-7469.
Neil Young will be joined on stage both nights by Promise of the Real, fronted by Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson. After accompanying Neil on "The Monsanto Years" and "Earth", Neil Young + Promise of the Real have traveled the world preaching environmental consciousness and compassion. And they finally make their glorious Telluride debut this weekend!
These very special shows begin at 6:30pm each night, with the Town Park gates opening at 5pm. Plan to arrive early each day to experience Neil Young's Village Earth -- a collection of not-for-profit activist organizations focusing on climate change, sustainable farming, non-GMO and organic foods, pipeline concerns, and other important issues.
If you haven't yet made your weekend plans, a few last-minute volunteer shifts may still be available. Earn your 2-Day Concert Pass by working two 5-6 hour shifts.
The concert box office is open Thursday (9am-5pm) and Friday/Saturday (9am-9pm). We encourage you to exchange your tickets for wristbands earlier in the day to avoid box office lines.
We hope you're able to join us this weekend in Telluride for these once-in-a-lifetime shows. Info about tickets, parking, lodging & camping, FAQs, and more is available at NeilYoungTelluride.com.
Back in Lyons, the fall Wildflower Concert Series continues with 3 more evenings of bluegrass along the St. Vrain River in October and November.
Join us on Friday nights in the intimate Wildflower Pavilion for Telluride and RockyGrass faves Chatham County Line (Oct. 14) and Front Country (Oct. 21). Then we close the fall series with Lyons' own Taarka (Nov. 11).
Tickets for all of these shows are available now at shop.bluegrass.com. We'll open the Wildflower bar and light the bonfire (weather permitting) at 7pm. Music starts at 8pm.
We can't wait to see you this fall in Telluride and Lyons. Happy Autumn!
