2017 Wildflower Concerts begin next Friday in Lyons... [ Wildflower image ]

February Tulips on the Planet Bluegrass RanchWith daffodils and tulips popping up around the snow patches on the Planet Bluegrass Ranch, it's time to start thinking about the 2017 Wildflower Concert Series. Tickets for all 6 shows in our Spring Series -- including our opening night next Friday, March 10 -- are on sale now at shop.bluegrass.com or 800-624-2422.

This 2017 series is our most musically broad yet -- from spoken word to singer-songwriters; country soul to bluegrass and old-time.

Shane Koyczan at Folks Fest (photo: Renee Ramge)We bookend the series with a few of our favorite festival performers from recent years: The powerful spoken word virtuoso Shane Koyczan ('13 and '15 Folks Festival and '16 Telluride Bluegrass) opens the Wildflower on March 10; two of our favorite singer-songwriters Joe Pug ('09 Folks Fest and '11 Telluride Bluegrass) and Anais Mitchell ('11 Folks Festival) close the series on April 28.

In between we welcome the honky tonkin' soul of Westword's 2-time "Best Country Band" Bonnie & The Clydes (March 31); the honeyed harmonies of Pueblo quartet The Haunted Windchimes (April 7); the worldly progressive banjo of Jayme Stone & Friends (April 14); and the dance-inducing vaudevillian newgrass of Gipsy Moon (April 21).

Tickets for all of these Friday evening shows are available now (with no service fees, of course) at shop.bluegrass.com. But don't wait too long -- the last 3 fall Wildflower shows sold-out in advance.
