Tix available for Friday's season finale with Front Country & Ragged Union... [ Wildflower image ]

This Friday night (May 8) we complete our inaugural Spring concert series in the rebuilt Wildflower Pavilion with award-winning progressive bluegrassers Front Country and Colorado sextet Ragged Union.

Front CountryWhat began as a collective of San Francisco's finest acoustic talent, Front Country have found a second home here in Colorado -- earning standing ovations on the Telluride and RockyGrass main stages. Individually they've won Grammy nominations and Merlefest songwriting contests, but collectively they're a tight 6-piece with powerhouse vocals. "Front Country draw on the ever valuable lessons of bluegrass while making music that is distinctly their own" (Chris Pandolfi of the Infamous Stringdusters).

Ragged UnionTo kick off this final Spring show, we welcome the Planet Bluegrass debut of Ragged Union. Led by the duet singing of husband-and-wife Geoff and Christina Union, this band of hot pickers includes RockyGrass champions Chris C-Bob Elliot (banjo) and Jordan Ramsey (mandolin).

Tickets are still available for Friday night at shop.bluegrass.com or 303-823-0848. Doors open at 7pm. Ragged Union takes the stage at 8pm. And we'll be clearing away some of the seats to make room for dancing!
