We're sorry to report that legendary singer-songwriter Jesse Winchester has had to *cancel* his show in the Wildflower Pavilion this Saturday (Oct. 20), due to health reasons. We wish Jesse a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him to Lyons in the future (though no date has yet been scheduled). Tickets purchased for this show have been automatically refunded to the purchasing credit card.
Music returns to the Wildflower Pavilion this Friday (Oct. 19) as we make room for dancing to the rocky mountain rock & roll of The Grant Farm. Led by national flatpicking guitar champion (and former Emmitt-Nershi Band member) Tyler Grant, this energetic electric quartet (tele, keys, bass, drums) is "country enough for cowboy boots, but still danceable and hippie enough for some patchouli" (Marquee Magazine). This Friday night, they'll share the stage with the improvisational jams of the powerful trio Interstate Stash Express.
Tickets are still available for this rollicking Friday show (with no service fees, of course) at shop.bluegrass.com, 800-624-2422, or in-person at The Stone Cup in Lyons.
Plan to spend a full evening in our wonderful town of Lyons. Enjoy one of our great restaurants (sushi, contemporary, Nepalese, BBQ, pizza, brewpub, and more). Play a few games of classic pinball. Then walk over to Planet Bluegrass for the bonfire and drinks at the Wildflower bar (including New Belgium Beer). The Pavilion doors open at 7pm and music starts at 8. We can't wait to share these last few special autumnal evenings with you here in Lyons. |
