Something special happens when Anne & Pete Sibley start to sing: our shoulders relax, our mind eases, breaths come easier; we feel like we're in the presence of something pure, honest, and true. (watch videos)
The couple from Jackson, WY are hardly a secret anymore. Bluegrass Now calls them “one of the sweetest, most soulful, and hauntingly beautiful duets in the business.” Last year Anne & Pete awed audiences across the country from RockyGrass to Merlefest to The Kennedy Center, including a live radio performance on A Prairie Home Companion where Garrison Keillor anointed them unanimous winners of the "Great American Duet Sing-Off" (listen).
This Friday, May 14, Anne & Pete help us conclude our spring Wildflower Concert Series with a gorgeous evening of acoustic music next to the St. Vrain River in "one of the coolest venues in Boulder County" (Daily Camera).
We begin the evening with a long-time friend of Planet Bluegrass, Martha Scanlan (of former festival favorites Reeltime Travelers). (watch videos)
Advance tickets are available now at shop.bluegrass.com, 303-823-0848, or The Stone Cup. Plan to arrive early for the bonfire (and beer & wine at the bar) at 7pm. Martha Scanlan takes the stage at 8pm.
